Family Friendly Water View Retreat w/ Sauna

What can I say?! The Osprey House is sublime. Our family looks forward to our annual stay. Thank you for the magical house and location to relax, cook and come together as a family. Looking forward to next summer!

Beautiful water view home! Great outdoor spaces! Closer to Port Hadlock than Port Ludlow but convenient to both and Port Townsend.Kitchen well stocked and spacious. Plenty of towels and linens would have liked another tablecloth and cloth napkins as we had children with us.Wish I would have looked at the description better as all 3 bedrooms downstairs with only 1 bathroom. There is another full bath on main level but very odd entrance to shower. Also said to use the 3rd bedroom downstairs there is an extra cleaning fee, so we used the den as the kid's bedroom to avoid the fees. Seemed odd what difference does it make?The Property managers were great and very helpful.

It's a perfect place to get a way from it all. We used it as home base for our day trips to the coast and Olympic park. I already miss the sunrises and sun sets. I only gave 3 stars on the location because it may be too secluded for some. If your looking for a night life, I don't think you will find much nearby.

We thoroughly enjoyed our getaway at this property. The deck was great for sitting and relaxing. From the deck, we saw seals, dolphins, a bald eagle and many cruise ships making their way from Seattle.The ping pong table got a lot of use on the rainy days, reminding us of many years ago when we had one of our own. The shuffleboard table was fun too. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable and the sauna was a nice bonus that we're not used to having at rentals. There was plenty of room for everyone with 6 adults and a toddler. This location is an easy drive to Port Townsend where we took a whale watching cruise and saw humpbacks, a minke whale, orcas, elephant seals, and the famous lost red footed booby. Port Townsend also has a ton of restaurants and shops to check out. With no other homes nearby it was a great retreat.

The Osprey House is so stunning. The home is architecturally interesting, fantastic kitchen for cooking, comfortable beds and views of the bay that can’t be beat. This was our second time staying and are already looking forward to returning next year!
